Design references by industry, not just tech
Words plagio team
If you're building for travel, food, health or hotels, a SaaS landing page is the wrong thing to copy. Here's where to look instead.
The mismatch. Most design galleries lean towards software, and so does the average AI-built page. A booking site, a coffee brand or a clinic ends up looking like a developer tool with a different logo.
Discover sorts its 445 sites by industry as well as by kind of product, so you can start from your own field. Below, the highest-scoring sites in each, with the pages we have for them.
Travel
Mr & Mrs Smith and Lonely Planet both lead with photography and set their type with care: Circular with Signifier for one, ABC Monument Grotesk for the other. Polarsteps uses its own typeface on a warm, cream page.
Food and drink
Food brands sell with colour and product photography more than layout. Omsom, Poppi and Jacobsen Salt all lead with the product; Dandelion Chocolate pairs Garamond with a warm palette.
Health
Health sites have a trust problem to solve. Maven Clinic and Talkspace both use a deep teal, and Maven sets its headlines in a serif, Ivar Display. Oura stays dark and shows the product beside the app.
Hotels
Edition sets its name in Didot; Belmond and Proper lead with full-bleed photography. Hotel sites are where restraint reads as luxury.
Use one
Open a site in Discover to see its colour roles and type scale, then copy the prompt on that page into your agent. Or ask your agent for "a landing page for my hotel" and plagio's find_references will look in hospitality for you.
